Once you depart from port of Sinop and you will see the Pasha Bastions on the way. Your first visit will be to Archaeological Museum. The Archaeological Museum is a modern museum, in which various art works of the rich cultural heritage of our city belonging to Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantium, Seljuks and Ottoman period as well as the artifacts and amphorae from the Black Sea. In the Icon section of the museum a rich collection of icons are shown.
After the visit to these museums, you will continue to Suleyman Pervane Medresseh and Alaeddin Mosque which has some interesting architectural features, such as columns of different sizes and decorations incorporated from different periods. The interior includes a tomb chamber with the sarcophagi of a dozen Seljuk sultans. You will have free time for lunch at the Akliman Cove. You will continue to historical Sinop prison and Hamsaroz Fiord. Your last visit will be to Sinop Castle which was constructed to protect the city in 7th Century BC. The castle was restored and used in the Roman, Byzantine and Seljukian times.
After all the visits, you will be taken back to port of Sinop by our guide.
